Firmware for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp
A ZIP containing the MMBasic source code (.bas files) and .hex files for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp - ready to load into the PIC32 on the BackPack.
The HEX file with an A suffix suits the 2.8in touchsreen BackPacks (V1 & V2) while the B suffix is for the V3 BackPack with a high-resolution 3.5in touchscreen.

The PCB for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp. Two ribbon cable/IR adaptor PCBs are also needed, along with one of the Micromite BackPacks for control.
Double-sided PCB with plated through holes, green solder mask and silkscreen overlay.

The ribbon cable adaptor PCB for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp. TWO ARE NEEDED in addition to the main board and the Micromite LCD BackPack module.

A 32-bit PIC microcontroller in 28-pin DIP package programmed for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp.
This is the version to suit a 2.8in touchscreen, as used in the Micromite LCD BackPack V1 or V2.
MMBasic is pre-loaded onto the chip, along with the Preamp software.

Both layers of both boards are in a single PDF. That includes the main Preamp PCB, coded 01103191, and the small ribbon cable adaptor PCB, coded 01103192.

Please note: software options which do not support the 3.5-inch touchscreen have been removed from the programming list as this was causing confusion.

PLEASE NOTE: the 10µF capacitors supplied are either non-polarised SMD or through-hole ceramic types. They have no markings and can be installed either way around.

The PCBs, programmed microcontroller and regulator are also available separately.
PLEASE NOTE: the 10µF and 47µF capacitors supplied are non-polarised SMD ceramic types. They have no markings and can be installed either way around. You can tell them apart as the 10µF capacitors are in a pack of two.

Also note: kits include 4 x 6mm machine screws, 4 x 10mm (or 8mm) machine screws and 4 x 3mm ID 6mm OD 1mm thick Nylon spacers. The longer screws & spacers are to attach the BackPack to the supplied lid. If not using the lid, place the washers under the 10mm screw heads.
