Software for the Deluxe Touchscreen eFuse
BASIC and C source code plus HEX file for the Deluxe Touchscreen eFuse project.
The download package includes two .BAS files; the library file must be loaded and saved to the library section first. Alternatively, load the HEX file directly on the PIC32; it also includes MMBasic.
The package also includes the source of the two CFUNCTIONs used.
Please note: the BUK7909-75AIE SenseFETs are no longer manufactured so check you can get those (or equivalents) before buying any parts for this project.

IPP80P03P4L-07 high-current P-channel Mosfet
A high-current P-channel Mosfet with low on-resistance in a standard TO-220 package. Note: package marking is '4P03L07'.
This is a faster switching, lower-cost version of the IPP80P03P4L-04 Mosfet that we also sell, but with slightly higher on-resistance.
Its critical specifications are:
Maximum drain-source voltage: 30V
Maximum gate-source voltage: +5V, -16V
Maximum continuous drain current: 80A
Maximum pulsed drain current: 320A
Maximum dissipation: 88W
Gate threshold voltage: 1-2V
On-resistance: 5.9mΩ
Input capacitance: 4.4nF
Output capacitance: 1.2nF
Reverse transfer capacitance: 30pF
While this is not a complementary type to the IPP80N06S4L-07 N-channel type we also sell, it is very well matched.

Gain bandwidth product: 200kHz
Slew rate: 60mV/µs
Input offset voltage: 150µV
Input bias current: 1nA
Input noise voltage: 50nV/√Hz
Output swing, no load: 3mV to Vs-12mV
Ouptut swing, 5mA load: 250mV to Vs-600mV
PSRR: 98dB
CMRR @ 1kHz: 92dB

IPP80N06S4L-07 high-current N-channel Mosfet (TO-220)
A high-current N-channel Mosfet with low on-resistance in a standard TO-220 package. Note: package marking is '4N06L07'.
Its critical specifications are:
Maximum drain-source voltage: 60V
Maximum gate-source voltage: ±16V
Maximum continuous drain current: 80A
Maximum pulsed drain current: 320A
Maximum dissipation: 79W
Gate threshold voltage: 1.2-2.2V
On-resistance: 6.4mΩ
Input capacitance: 4.4nF
Output capacitance: 1.0nF
Reverse transfer capacitance: 45pF
While this is not a complementary type to the IPP80P03P4L-07 P-channel type we also sell, it is very well matched.

Matte Black UB1 Lid for the Deluxe Touchscreen eFuse
A lid laser cut from 3mm black acrylic which replaces the lid supplied with a UB1 "Jiffy" box. Attaches with the supplied screws (longer self-tapping screws may be required, depending on what comes with the box). The external side can be either matte or gloss black.
The Deluxe eFuse PCB is mounted on the rear of the lid using four M3 machine screws, with the touch-screen flush with the top surface. The cut-out is sized to leave minimal clearance around the screen. There are also profiled holes to mount the six binding posts.
158 x 96.5mm.
Note: after removing the protective film, you may need to clean off some glue residue using a damp cloth.
Also note: the BUK7909-75AIE SenseFETs are no longer manufactured so check you can get those (or equivalents) before buying any parts for this project.
