SILICON CHIP does not produce kits of parts for the projects published nor,
with very rare exceptions, have available any of the components used. (A few
projects contain pre-programmed processor chips available from SILICON CHIP but
these are always nominated within the articles).
SILICON CHIP liaises closely with the major kit suppliers when developing
kits, especially those with new, unusual or difficult-to-get components.
Enquiries regarding the availability of any kit should be directed to the
major kit suppliers, all of who advertise regularly in SILICON CHIP.
In some cases, projects are designed by a kit supplier or other organisation
who retains the copyright in the project and the right to sell that particular
kit. In this case the kit will generally NOT be available from other kit
suppliers unless special arrangements have been made between them. However,
where not available through normal channels full details on kit availability are
published within the article.
