VK2828U7G5LF TTL GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO module with antenna and cable

- Tracking sensitivity -162dBm, capture sensitivity -160dBm
- Cold start 26 seconds, hot start one second
- 1-10Hz updates
A short 6-way cable with plug is supplied. If you order this, you may receive a VK2828U8G5LF which is an updated version of the module with slightly better specifications but provides the same functions.

A 32-bit PIC microcontroller in 28-pin DIP package programmed for the GPS-Synched Frequency Reference. This includes the Micromite software v5.04 as well as the TFT LCD configuration, with the Frequency Reference BASIC program pre-loaded.

PLEASE NOTE: the 10µF capacitors supplied are either non-polarised SMD or through-hole ceramic types. They have no markings and can be installed either way around.
The PCBs, programmed microcontrollers and regulator are also available separately. For assembly instructions, see the article in the May 2017 issue.

SMD parts for the GPS-Synched Frequency Reference
A set of some of the parts for the GPS-Synched Frequency Reference project; see the parts list link below for details on what is included.
This kit does not include any connectors, any other through-hole parts or the LCD BackPack module. We have a separate LCD BackPack kit available, with the PIC pre-programmed with the software for this project.
If you order this set of parts, plus the BackPack kit, you will still need to purchase the box, power supply, a suitable GPS module, the connectors and a few through-hole parts separately to complete the unit.
Assembly instructions are in the October and November 2018 issues.
Note that the photo shows an assembled board, including the extra through-hole parts which are not included in this parts set.
