Matte Black UB3 Lid for Compact 8-digit Frequency Meter
A lid laser cut from 3mm black acrylic which replaces the lid supplied with a UB3 "Jiffy" box. Attaches with the supplied screws. The exterior surface is matte black, to match a black jiffy box.
The Compact 8-digit Auto-Ranging Frequency Meter PCB is mounted on the rear of the lid using four M3 machine screws, with the LCD screen flush with the top surface. The cut-out is sized to leave minimal clearance around the screen.
For best appearance, use two 1mm-thick Nylon washers under each LCD mounting spacer and use a full-depth female header to plug in the LCD. This ensures that the top of the LCD is flush with the top of the lid.
Note: after removing the protective film, you may need to clean off some glue residue using a damp cloth.
